Digital Marketing Lead
THE OPPORTUNITY
Millions of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck — and SaverLife exists to change that. We combine technology, research, and community to help people build financial stability that lasts. We build engaging tools, real rewards, and smart partnerships that give our members the motivation and the means to take control of their financial future. We're here to make saving feel achievable, even fun, and to back it with a movement for economic equity.
The Digital Marketing Lead is where that mission meets the member. Every newsletter, campaign, and in-app nudge you build is a chance to turn intention into action — to be the reason someone opens the app, sets a goal, and actually sticks with it. Your work doesn't just support the mission; it's how most of our members experience it.
We are looking for a dynamic marketing professional who thrives on momentum; someone who can juggle a dozen campaigns without dropping a single one, spot the angle that makes a message land, and move fast enough to keep pace with a mission this big. If you get restless doing the same thing twice, and you'd rather solve five problems at once than perfect one in isolation — keep reading.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
This is a full-cycle digital marketing role — spanning member communications, content and growth campaigns, and the analytics that tell you what's working. Here's a look at what you'll be doing day to day:
Member Engagement & Product Marketing
- Drive the member communications calendar — newsletters, in-app messages, SMS, push, and announcements — with an eye on engagement and retention, not just send volume.
- Build seasonal campaigns that turn casual members into committed savers.
- Partner across community, product, research, and policy teams to keep the member experience sharp end to end.
- Jump into member testing and interviews, then translate what you hear into recommendations the team actually ships.
Content Marketing & Growth
- Develop personal finance content that's genuinely useful, working with SEO, PR, and our financial coaches.
- Run growth experiments that reach new audiences faster and better.
- Manage vendor and affiliate relationships that extend our reach without diluting our mission.
Analytics & Optimization
- Analyze traffic, conversion, and member feedback data to tell the team what's actually working.
- Turn insight into iteration — quickly.
WHAT MAKES YOU A FIT
This role moves fast, and it rewards people who move with it. Based on what actually predicts success here, you're likely:
- Proactive and competitive — you take initiative without waiting for a green light.
- Energized by variety — multiple priorities, shifting conditions, and a full plate sound like Tuesday, not chaos.
- A fast, persuasive communicator — you connect quickly, talk straight, and get buy-in.
- Results-first — you care more about hitting the goal than following a script to get there.
- Comfortable focusing on the next big push.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years in digital, growth, or content marketing.
- A track record managing campaigns from planning through execution and performance analysis.
- Comfort juggling multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
- Experience using marketing analytics and reporting tools to drive decisions.
- Strong written communication and the strategic instincts to turn data into action.
We would love it if you also have:
- Experience in nonprofit, fintech, consumer engagement, or another mission-driven organization.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms.
- A track record thriving in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
WHY SAVERLIFE?
We're a distributed team that's serious about our mission and doesn't take itself too seriously getting there. You'll work alongside people who care about economic equity as much as you do, with real autonomy to build campaigns that move the needle for members who need it most.
